I used to be a very ambitious person. Always trying to do something wild and big. But that kind of thinking never brought me happiness or customer satisfaction.

I used to have a maid matching company worth more than RM100 million, with 140 employees, 3,000 registered part-time cleaners, and more than 8,000 service bookings every month.

After my last business venture failed, I started to think again: is that what I really want? After that failure, I tried hard to go back to where I was, or even higher. But something inside my heart kept pulling me back. It’s not that I don’t know how to build another giant again. I have been a fighter since I was 10 years old. I have been fighting my whole life — basketball state player, best athlete of Kuala Lumpur, taekwondo national youth champion.

At that point I realised something was wrong. I felt happy when our kakak got a better lifestyle. I felt motivated when clients were satisfied with the service we delivered. I felt meaningful when we actually solved clients’ problems.

During the last journey, I worked day and night and rarely saw my kids and my precious wife. I realised fame and money were destroying the good side of me. Maybe I was not ready to deserve that. Now I just don’t care anymore. Just fuck it, fame and money.

Currently, my wife and I just want to focus on our kids. We don’t want to miss any second with them anymore. We don’t care how big the company is. We care about every kakak who is willing to stay with us, and every client who believes in us. No matter if you pay us RM1,000 per month or RM76, I love you all the same. Serve you with the best we can, and create good value for the market.

My-Neighbour 的灵魂 

我以前是一个很有野心的人。总想做一些很大、很狂的事。但那种想法从来没有带给我快乐，也没有真正让客户满意。

我曾经有一间女佣配对公司，价值超过一亿，员工140人，注册兼职保洁工人有3000人，每个月超过8000单。

上一间公司失败后，我开始重新想：那真的是我想要的吗？失败之后，我很努力想回到以前的位置，甚至想做得更大。但我内心好像一直有股力量在把我拉扯回来。不是我不会再做一个很大的公司，我从10岁开始就是一个斗士。我斗了一辈子——篮球州队、吉隆坡最佳运动员、跆拳道全国青年冠军。

这时候我才发现，有些事情好像感觉不对劲。当工人们的生活变好，我会开心。当客户对我们的服务满意，我会有动力。当我们真正帮客户解决问题，我会觉得有意义。

上一趟路，我日夜工作，很少见到我的孩子和我珍惜的老婆。我发现钱名利正在毁掉我比较好的那一面。也许我还没准备好去配得上那些东西。现在我已经不在乎了。金钱，地位，fuck it！

现在，我和我老婆只想把注意力放在孩子身上。我们不想再错过和他们在一起的任何一秒。我们不在乎公司有多大。我们在乎的是每一个愿意留下来的员工，每一个相信我们的顾客。不管你一个月付我们RM1000，还是RM76，我都是一样的用心去爱大家。把我们能做到最好的去服务你们，给市场创造真正好的价值。
